Dutchmasters Cabin

Spent the weekend before July 4th at a beautiful little hunting cabin in the mountains of Slate Run, PA at an annual family reunion with my Mom's side of the family.  She was 1 of 19 kids, so as you can imagine it's sizeable event...around 200 people...my grandfather built this cabin with a bunch of his buddies when he was a young man...he passed away several years ago, but we all still meet their every year and it's filled with so many memories and nostalgia...barefoot walks down the path to the general store filled with penny candy and ice cream...swimming in the creek, skipping stones, canoe rides, tubin' down the creek, volleyball, banjos and acoustic guitars on the front porch, my Dad singing Johnny Cash songs, water fights, watermelon, cousin Mike's amazing grilled chicken, on and on...a rich tradition filled with people I love...something I'm so grateful for
